Magdalena has a bachelor’s degree in European Law from Maastricht University and is a final year law student at the Uniwersytet Warszawski. During her studies in Maastricht, she participated in honours programmes such as the Maastricht University Law College - UMLC and European Corporate Finance Law Excellence Course. Moreover, she spent a semester abroad at the University of British Columbia. Magdalena gained her work experience as a researcher during the “InAbsentiEAW” research project, as a trainee at an international law firm, and as an editor at a legal publishing house. She is involved in contributing to the mission of the European Student Think Tank, in the past as an Ambassador, and currently as an International Officer. Recently, she has represented Young European Leadership and volunteered for Service Civil International (SCI). She speaks Polish, English, French, and Italian.

Kolarska
Office of Congressman Tom Malinowski
Dorota has recently graduated from the University of Oxford with a degree in Philosophy, Politics and Economics. Her main academic interests cover foreign affairs, development economics, and politics in the post-Soviet states and the Balkans. During her years at Oxford, Dorota was actively engaged in building Polish student community in the UK – staring from her year as an executive director of the Project Access Polska, through her work for the Oxford University Polish Society, and ending up with an experience of organising the Congress of Polish Student Societies in the UK. Next academic year, she will be starting her master’s degree at Uniwersytet Warszawski and contributing to the mission of improving the level of public debate as an advisor to Akademickie Mistrzostwa Polski Debat Oksfordzkich.

Office of Representative Marcy Kaptur
Malwina is a third-year law student at The London School of Economics and Political Science - LSE. She was awarded the Middle Temple Award that recognized her potential of becoming a successful barrister. Recently, Malwina shadowed the Lord Justice of Court of Appeal of England and Wales. She is interested in international law and human rights. To build up her knowledge she participates in mooting competitions. Her interest in transatlantic relations dates back to 2016 when she took part in the Women2Women International Leadership Conference in Boston, where she took part in negotiations classes at Harvard University Program on Negotiation. While interning in the Polish Ministry of Foreign Affairs, she developed her passion for diplomacy and expanded her knowledge of the Polish foreign policy. In her free time, she is a keen participant of MUN conferences and LSE representative at the Harvard World Model United Nations. Moreover, she is an active member of LSE SU Polish Business Society where she helped organize LSE SU Polish Economic Forum.

Di Maggio
Office of Congressman Gregory Meeks
Adelaide is Italo-Polish and has just graduated from University College London (UCL), with a double BA in Philosophy and History of Art. She is now planning to undertake thorough work in the field of educational and social policy projects, including leadership and soft-skills development among young people. Her past experiences include interning at the office of a MEP, in the European Parliament, and working on educational projects at the GPW / Giełda Papierów Wartościowych w Warszawie / Warsaw Stock Exchange. Adelaide is also active in the non-profit and informal education sector, as the President of the Europejski Parlament Młodzieży EYP Poland, part of the European Youth Parliament (EYP) platform. The organisation focuses on driving young people to be more active citizens.

Michalczuk

Adrian has recently graduated from the SGH Warsaw School of Economics with a degree in Finance, where he served as the VP of the Students’ Union responsible for the quality of teaching there and started his second consecutive term as a students’ representative in the university Senate this June. His main academic interests are financial services/FinTech and their regulatory environment, higher education, as well as public policy for innovation. He gained his first professional experience in management consulting during internships in Deloitte and McKinsey & Company. Adrian is a co-author of “System of support for start-ups in the Central and Eastern Europe” paper for XXVIII and Forum Ekonomiczne / Economic Forum in Krynica-Zdroj, the biggest economic conference in the region. In October, he will be starting his Master’s Degree in Economic Analysis of Financial Markets at the Warsaw School of Economics and further developing his plans of working for the EU institutions at some point in the future.

Mariusz is a final year law student at the Uniwersytet Warszawski and a graduate of the Center for American Law Studies organized in cooperation with Georgia State University and Emory University. Mariusz represented the University of Warsaw at numerous international moot court competitions, including Willem C. Vis Moot. In 2018, he was awarded Scholarship of Ministry of Science and Higher Education for outstanding achievements. He is also the president of Common Law Society (University of Warsaw), a students' association focused on the promotion and research of common law legal systems. He has gathered professional experience in litigation and arbitration departments of leading law firms in Warsaw and has recently concluded a 3-month internship at a law firm in Miami. He speaks English and French.

Antoni is currently pursuing undergraduate degrees in Economics and Computer Science at Stanford University. He also holds executive positions in a number of clubs and bodies, including the Stanford Student Space Initiative, and the Stanford Applied Cybersecurity Club. Antoni also serves as the Stanford International Ambassador for Poland as well as President of the Stanford Polish Student Association and sits on the Board of Trustees as a Student Representative. Back in Poland, Antoni is currently serving as Deputy Director of the cross-ministerial GovTech Polska Programme in the Kancelaria Premiera (the Chancellery of the Prime Minister of Poland) after having previously coordinated numerous government technology initiatives, including the MinFinTech Programme at Poland’s Ministry of Finance.

Mroczkowski
Przemysław is the Educational Enterprise Foundation Scholar. He also received scholarships from the City of Warsaw (John Paul II Scholarship) and the Polish Catholic Bishops’ Conference. In 2017 he completed his BA studiesat the Inter-faculty Individual Studies in the Humanities (MISH) at the University of Warsaw (majors: econometrics and computer science). He is currently a final year student of law at the University of Warsaw. He is an avid Boy Scout.

Łukasz has just graduated with a first-class honours degree in BSc Economics from University of Warwick and will soon start his M.A. in Economics at Columbia University in the City of New York. As a keen researcher, he wrote a number of papers on the economics of religion, speculation on cryptocurrency and Polish membership in the EU. In the past, Łukasz has gained exposure to a number of industries, including banking, consulting and journalism. In his free time, he enjoys thai boxing and windsurfing, travelling the world and creating new media.

Marcin is currently pursuing an MA in Law at Uniwersytet Marii Curie-Skłodowskiej w Lublinie and MSc in Finance and Accounting at SGH Warsaw School of Economics. He has also completed a BSc in Economics and BA in European Studies at Katolicki Uniwersytet Lubelski Jana Pawła II. He received a scholarship of UMCS Rector for the best students each year he was studying at the university and a scholarship of Fundacja im. Kazimierza Pułaskiego to attend a course at European Academy of Diplomacy | Europejska Akademia Dyplomacji | EAD. Marcin gained considerable professional experience whilst working at the European Parliament, Sejm of the Republic of Poland, NATO and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Poland. In the past, he was a Speaker of the Polish Youth Parliament, the President of the Youth City Council of Lublin and the President of the Migration and Integration Committee of the European Youth Parliament (EUROSCOLA contest). In his spare time he enjoys travelling and going to theatre. His other passion is reading about Margaret Thatcher, who is his personal role model.

Kasia is an undergraduate student of International Relations at Uniwersytet Jagielloński. Next academic year, she will be undertaking an Erasmus+ exchange at Sciences Po Paris. As a former participant & organiser of multiple Model United Nations conferences and European Youth Parliament sessions, she is passionate about youth engagement in the political discourse. Kasia gained considerable professional experience during her internship at the European Parliament in Brussels in 2017. She is actively engaged in a number of initiatives aiming to protect global ecosystems, including by being part of the official youth and children constituency to UNFCCC (United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change) where she works together with policy-makers and political leaders on combating climate change. Kasia has represented the voice of global youth at several meetings such as High-Level Political Meeting on Climate and Sustainable Development for All in New York or the Abu Dhabi Climate Meeting last June. She is also engaged in sharing information about the United Nations in Poland as a coordinator of one of the departments of the United Nations Association Poland called „Poland in the UN”. Spending time with her family and friends, travelling abroad and playing ukulele are her favourite past times.
